Giovanna Jewellery and Crystals is a partnership between Sam, from New Zealand, and Giovanna, from Brazil.

Giovanna has been immersed in the world of gemstones from a young age, with her family owning an agate mine in Brazil since the 1990s. Her frequent visits to the mine with her father ignited a lifelong fascination with the unique beauty of these stones.

When Sam moved to Brazil, he too developed a deep appreciation for gemstones, captivated by their distinct patterns and forms.

Giovanna’s love for jewellery and accessories, and their ability to inspire confidence, led her to combine her passions and create her own jewellery business, GM Cristais, in Brazil.

After getting married, we relocated to New Zealand and realised that our jewellery, with its distinctive designs and craftsmanship, offered something truly unique here. We wanted to share this uniqueness and help others experience the same confidence Giovanna feels when wearing our pieces.

Our jewellery is designed in New Zealand (Aotearoa) and crafted in Brazil, where we oversee every step of the supply chain—from the mine to the production. This ensures our commitment to ethically sourced and sustainably produced jewellery.

Our mine is a family business, which is a legacy of 3 decades. It's located in south of Brazil, in the state Rio Grande do Sul.
